Netelligent open state-of-the-art downtown datacentre

Summary: Netelligent Hosting today announced a New Datacentre in Downtown Montreal

For immediate release

MONTREAL, Aug. 13, 2013. Netelligent, a home-grown Montreal company, today announced its 22,000-square-foot state-of-the-art neutral datacentre officially open for business, providing companies of all sizes in Montreal and beyond with greater choice and availability. Located in the heart of the city's business district, in the Montreal Stock Exchange Tower at Square Victoria, Netelligent's facilities provide a range of high-performance, flexible, scalable, cost-effective hosting solutions. The reliability of the new datacentre was put to the ultimate test with the recent major power outage in Montreal's commercial centre: while the whole Stock Exchange Tower was in darkness, Netelligent's datacentre continued to provide uninterrupted service to its customers.

We're very proud of what we have here," said Thomas Bernier, head of sales. "There's nothing like it in downtown Montreal, even though there is a very real need for it. We wanted to offer our customers the latest infrastructure for connectivity, power supply, cooling, and fire suppression, in a state-of-the-art secured facility. We wanted to ensure our customers can rely on their data remaining secure and available, whatever the circumstances.

Continuous uptime for their customers' servers is the Netelligent team's number one priority. "Our years of experience mean we understand the impact of even one second of downtime," Mr Bernier continued, "and we built this facility to make sure that can't happen. But we also built it for flexibility. We know that companies want to be able to connect instantaneously, get inside when they want, scale as they want, and use the service provider of their choice. And we can do that for them."

Setting up and going live has never been easier or faster; plenty of room to grow in the new space, high-density spot cooling, and "plug-and-play" overhead power distribution. By focusing on their customers\' needs Netelligent is confident it will increase its market share in the next few years.
